Menu Plan Monday

April 6, 2009

I have been doing menu planning for awhile and it has helped out my organization skills  a lot! I am excited to be able to post it here instead of trying to keep track of that darn post-it note all week….

Monday: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwiches and Homemade Tomato Soup (I use milk w/ a little 1/2 & 1/2 instead of the cream)

to do: make bread (I am still searching for a good whole grain bread recipe so if you have one please post it in the comments!)

Tuesday: Baked Potato topped with Vegetarian Chili and Cheese w/ steamed broccoli

Wednesday: Burgers (Whole Foods sells the BEST  pre-made burgers in the meat section) w/ Corn and Potato Mashers

Thursday: Blackened Tilapia w/ brown rice and sauteed asparagus

Friday: Homemade Pizza Night (this dough can be made in the bread machine or by hand, also I usually only need 1/2 the dough for our family and freeze the other 1/2) Toppings… 1/2 pepperoni w/ marinara and 1/2  pesto sauce artichokes, diced tomatoes, and black olives

Saturday: Eat out for lunch or dinner, we will have leftovers for the other meal

Sunday: Totally forgot it was Easter! I have no idea what we will be doing…. Uhmmm, Mom if you are reading this…any ideas?

Hi Heather! I know, I love the satorialist people… I am not fashionable at all, but I love looking at other people and wishing I was! How is your family doing?
